The Opportunity:

We are looking for casual cleaners to join our school cleaning teams in the South East and North West region of Melbourne and Geelong area, as part of the Victorian Schools PPP contract.

The key objective for this role is to be responsible to maintain a high standard of cleaning services throughout our School Facilities. Our cleaning team hold an important role within the School community by providing a clean & hygienic School to support student learning.

Shift availability is from Monday to Friday, afternoons from 3-4pm start times (4-6 hour shifts).

Schools located throughout South East and North West region of Melbourne and Geelong area. These roles are best suited to people who live in the local Government areas/ suburbs listed below:

• Clyde, Cranbourne, Narre Warren, Frankston Pakenham and Officer
• Mernda, Wollert, South Morang, Doreen, Epping
• Point Cook, Altona, Hoppers Crossing, Werribee, Laverton
• Bannockburn, Geelong, Armstrong Creek, Torquay

About you - what you will need to be successful: 

• Experience in commercial cleaning isn’t necessary, but an eagerness to learn is important, full training & induction is provided
• A valid Working with Children Check Card (employee type).
• A valid AFP National Police History certificate
• Proof of right to work in Australia
• Be available from Monday to Friday
• Be available to travel to any school in your allocated zone
• Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety principles
