The Role
We currently have a vacancy for a Dessert and Diet Cook with hours spread across Monday – Sunday.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing assistance to the head chef
- Food preparation, including desserts & dietary requirements
- A la carte style food service for special diet patient needs
- General kitchen cleaning duties
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate
- A passion for quality food and customer service
- Excellent knowledge of Food Safety
- Previous experience with high volume bulk cooking
- Previous experience in fast paced commercial kitchens
- Understanding of OH&S and HACAP food safety practices
- An ability to work as part of a great team
- Have excellent attention to detail
