The Role

We currently have a vacancy for a Dessert and Diet Cook with hours spread across Monday – Sunday.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing assistance to the head chef
• Food preparation, including desserts & dietary requirements
• A la carte style food service for special diet patient needs
• General kitchen cleaning duties

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate

• A passion for quality food and customer service
• Excellent knowledge of Food Safety
• Previous experience with high volume bulk cooking
• Previous experience in fast paced commercial kitchens
• Understanding of OH&S and HACAP food safety practices
• An ability to work as part of a great team
• Have excellent attention to detail
